Coop's Bday!

My baby tuned 1 the day after Valentines day!! It was a fun bday!!

We filled the apartment with people we love and had food and opened presents!! My lil sis brought her rock band with her and that was a blast!!! (just in case anyone is ever wondering what to get me for my bday.... mother's day... uhm anything i would need a gift for.... i want that!!!)

Sometimes i wonder if parents wait till their kids are one before they ever get to even taste cake?? does that happen?? cuz why is it always a big deal when they eat cake, or they get thier own cake??? like hes never had cake before and we need to see how he reacts? My kids eat cake.... its mushy, they should be able to eat cake?? right?? anyways lol

Coop got some great presents! I dont think he opened any by himself, his brother cant handle the pace that he was opening them at, tooo slow, so Wil helped

He got an awesome toy box from G&G Blaine! painted by a lady in our ward who did a great job, its so pretty, its painted in the back and top and inside, the sides have differnt sports on em, one side is hockey, red wings logo i believe, its gorgeous the pic does not do it justice at all!

I love this baby, i cant believe he is one, hes such a big kid, walking/running all over, he says "Uh Oh!" and "Yuck Yuck" he can do the sign for More.. i havent pushed any more than that, rumor has it second kids tend to take longer to talk anyways because the older sib talks for them, and i am really seeing that, Wil is constantly saying "Coop needs a drink" "Coop doesnt want to take a nap" "Coop needs a diaper"

We had his 1 year appt this week ... ready for the stats!!! this kid is huge lol
weight : 26lbs
height: uhm.... 31" i think that sounds right, ill fix it later if its not
his overall size has slimmed a little he has always been in the 110th percentile, and now he is 90th... so thats good!! and his BMI went down too!
on a side note, i didnt even know that they measured BMI on babies!!! it was kinda ridiculous when i saw that in my stack of papers, they must not make a big deal of it but it was silly

Walkin Man!

My home is full of boys and i could not love them more, they all cuddled up to watch a "high-ya" cartoon. I will keep em forever :)

His first steps were Jan 1st, hes been a little slow to pick it up but hes getting better every day!
this kid cracks me up! he has the biggest butt on any baby ive ever met and has the biggest personality. Hes bugging me right now so , thinking it would make him leave me alone, the nose sucker was sitting on the computer desk here i decided to suck his nose out and of course it back fired, now he wants me to keep doing it.... hes laughing and laughing, he hated that thing when he was tiny, lame!!!

New years resolution

#1 be a better blogger/journalist
#2 lose 10lbs
#3 be more positive, quit whining and stop taking for granted all that i have
#4 be more confident and outgoing (this is on my list every year)..... so is that 10 lbs one.... lol


This is from way back at the end of november at the fantasy of lights parade the day after thanksgiving, we paid stinkinj $8 for that sword that blinked like a carnival ride, i felt like i was going to have a seizure everytime i looked directly at it and it only lasted for like a day and a half lol but the parade was way fun!

Christmas was wonderful this year! Even though it was the first in like forever that i havent spent with my mom... like my whole life.... it was still great. Wil seemed to really get it this year and was just awesome. He was so greatful for everything that he got! i really worried about that, cuz i wasnt sure how to teach him to be greatful, i dont want a spoiled stinkin kid who just goes on to the next present lol but Wil did awesome, he opened the big kitchen and hugged the box "thankyou my kitchen mommy, thankyou my kitchen daddy!" he said it like a million time, every gift he opened he was just all thankyous.




The kitchen was an awesome gift he plays and play and plays, coop will play with him for hours i dont hear anything from em they are just puchin buttons it keeps em so busy, He also got a cool train table that keeps them really busy too.


We spent the first week of december at my parents house since we werent going to get to see them for christmas and we had a blast there too. lots of fun activities, too many to recount, but rachel cracks me up in this picture so i had to post it..

any ways Happy New Year!!!! heres to hopin this year is waaaaay better than crappy last year!!!

best friends

Now that Cooper is mobile these two boys have become coconspirators in making the hugest messes, daily. Cooper's crawling and pulling himself up on everything and then pulls toys out and tosses em...... i wonder where he learned that from.

Wil loves to read books to cooper too. and they sit and laugh with eachother, Wil plays peek-a-boo with coop and then they both laugh and roll and laugh, i really hope they stay best friends lol, they are too cute

Halloween

My mom and lil sis came up for halloween like they did last year, i think its a fun tradition we will have to keep up! it was great to have her here, i really really miss em

We had alot of fun with Wil this year, he loved picking out his own costume and talked about trick-or-treating for weeks!!

Nick pulled this super sweet costume together last minute, i had some face paint and right before trick-or-treating time he was doin his face up and it looked awesome, the pictures do not do it justice

Then there was Coopy the pirate, lol, he kept the mustache on all night, didnt smear it or anything

we are so precious! We had a pizza party before we went then lasted a whole 2 or 3 blocks before it got dark and cold and we headed back lol. really fun tho

Dangnabit

Ok, so this time for real i promise to not post only once a month!!! I've had way to much real life crap happening, nothing fun and sparkly and blog worthy lol. I'm thinkin we will be making a trip to the pumpkin patch saturday so i can post warm fluffies about that!

I got this car for Wil at a mom 2 mom sale for $10, and it was the best $10 ive ever spent, he spent an entire week in that thing! He ate in it, he watched tv in it, he ran over his brother in it, he packed whatever he could pack in it.

Coop is not quite crawling, he can go from laying to sitting like a pro, he get on all fours all the time, just cant go forward, he bounces on his bum while sitting in a forward motion and thats how he gets to something in front of him, hes a riot, and constantly getting stuck under things

I took a crack at homemade bread......... looked really good when i stuck it in the oven. I didnt take an after picture... it looked pretty much like that.... :( oh well, try try again, dumb bread

This is my hazmat outfit for when we cleaned out the house in lansing that we used to live in. The bank took it back last year after we moved and couldnt sell it, or rent it.. or anything, and after we applied for every sort of helpful anything granhlom grant etc. tried to short sell it and was declined for that.. bah anyways! over the summer we got a letter from the bank saying that they are giving us the house back.... it said here ya go, keep the house, we are going to put the 90,000 (after penalties and taxes and fees) you owe us into collections. so you still have to pay us back but u can have the crappy house. Ugh we said... then in september we got a letter from the collection agency saying that we can settle the 90,000 debt for 12,000 and call it even, we get to keep the house, sell it, burn it down, whatever cuz we own it, there will be nothing on our credit and the house is ours..... Needless to say we couldnt refuse the offer. Sooooooo now we have to go back to the house that we gave back to the bank and left it full of garbage and crap (yes we are those kind of people) So the hazmat suit i have on in the above pic was to clean out the maggot filled refrigerator. and take all the rotted and composting food that has been sitting in a vacant house with no power for the last year rotting.... i took lots of pics but cant post them due to the fact that they are way too disgusting, and i cant believe it was left like that.... anyways cant dwel on the past.

We filled the dumpster in no time and still have some crap that could prolly fill at least half of another one of those. This house was nick's house before we were married, he lived there for a while with lots of different roommates that came and went and left lots of crap behind, furniture, couches, broken tables, just tons and tons of crap.....

Now we are fixing the front picture window that had a brick thrown through it (gosh downtown lansing is wonderful.....) and putting in a new front door and selling it for super cheap..... hopefully not moving back into it cuz i would cry. its like that 1408 movie, where the room kept sucking him back in. I was out!!! I was out!!!!!!!! lol dumb house, dumb bread, sigh, and thats the month of september and half of oct in my life.
