Dirty Little Secrets

I have a few vices in this world, things i plan my life around, number one being my Diet Pepsi supply, i go through so many cases a week, i try not to keep track.
i make sure i always have an extra case in the closet in case i runout of cold ones.... when its the last few days before pay day and things are real tight , i take back all the pop cans and grab as much change as i can find then Wil and i skip off to Meijer and get a case of diet pepsi. Days when i run out, are bad days... Kool-aide is never a good substitute. Nick says that the first step is admitting you have a problem, so here i am, my name is elise and i love diet pepsi :)

Waving!!

Got it on video! Its a little shaky cuz im holding the camera and waving like a fool myself to get him to do it lol. but it was the best short clip i got today :) aaaand i apologize for the minnie mouse voice i have, might want to turn the volume on your PC down while watching :)

Wil update

Been a very productive month for Wil, he has started really moving around, I'm not gonna call it crawling yet, sorta army crawling all over the place. I had to finally baby proof the house, move the dvds up off the floor, and all the candles and frames and pretty things i had down low. He has been pulling himself up on things too, like the couch, chairs and me :)

this video is of him scooting, i have a hard time getting good stuff on video so hes crying the whole time lol, but you get the drift.

And just yesterday he learned to wave!! and sorta high five but mostly wave lol, so when dad left for work this morning he was a wavein' fool!! im going to try to get that on video to post but it might not happen, im really bad at that lol.

New Car!

This last weekend nick actually had a saturday off, his car hadnt been starting right so we decided it was about time to go look at new cars, see what we could afford and what we could get for his crappy mountaineer. We were gonna make them give us at least 2g's for it cuz someone is always running a push pull or drag event lol. At the dealership we were test driving some cars, bigger cars and smaller suv's, the sales guy was getting ready to go home so he tried to get us outta there asap and told us to give him a few days and he would see what he could get to the lot in our price range and something smaller like a saturn view or a chevy equinox. nice cars, not too big. sounded good so we got back in the crappy mountaineer to head home and the stupid thing wouldnt start!! its like it got to the dealership, saw what we were doing there and got sad and died..... it was so embarassing lol. turns out it was the starter, anyhow. So nick went back inside to the sales guy who was putting his coat on to go home (mind you it was only 3) and told him we couldnt wait a few days that we needed a new car that day lol. Then mr. salesman thought he had us in his pocket.... so crappy, wouldnt cut us any deals and was being a big jerk. wouldnt give us anything for the old car... nothing... said it wasnt worth anything to him.... jerk.... nick said screw it then and called his dad to come help us out, either yell at the salesman or drive us to another dealership... after 2 hours of nicks dad trying to get this guy to work with us he still wouldnt, so we all headed down the road to another dealership, we pull up to the next place asked the new salesman what he has in our price range and what we wanted like a view or an equinox. in the whole used car lot he pulls up with a nice looking View, great condition, good mileage for the year it is, righ tin our price range!!! problem though the crappy trade in is down the road at the other dealership not starting., the new salesman said if we could get in the parking lot he would give us 2g's for it and knock our new car price waaay down... so we spent another hour trying to get it started, banging on the starter , man we tried everything. so then i said a prayer, mostly for the car to start or help to get it down the road, when it wouldnt start we gave up and went back, the sales guy had talked to his manager and they were going to have thier maintenance guy go down there with a truck and a tow rope and drag it back and would still give us the money for it!!! it was amazing how it worked out. the perfect car for us financially and economically, i am so greatful. god really does have a plan for every little aspect of our lives... even stupid cars... lol

now poor nick has to drive my old focus, its a nice car but not what he is used to and now i get to drive the new family car!!! its cute but it is really a mom car..
