Punkin Carvin'

We had such a fun time last night carving pumpkins, we try to do it every year. Nick really gets into it and does a good job, i usually just put a silly face on my pumpkins but he uses the awsesome patterns and makes masterpieces! Wil had a great time too hes so funny, i bought him a little pumpkin and he just sat and sucked on it. Screamed if i tryed to take it away so i just let him suck on it. lol, but we put in our favorite halloween movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, in the lap top so we could watch it in the dining room while we were carving. I forget how much i love that movie.

I am so excited for the holidays, I love decorating my housethe smells of the season, all the different wierd family traditions i have started, its awesome. Nick is such a great sport for letting me be me. hopefully my kids will enjoy the holidays as much as i did growing up. and still do :D

Vacation Week!!

We have been gone for the past week, Nick took the week off and we lived it up!! Went down to Louisville for a seminar over the weekend, such a blast, we took the chance to see the sights there We went to the Zoo and shopped shopped shopped!! Wil n I hung out at the hotel while nick was at the seminar and then he let me go saturday morning and stayed back with Wil. I thought about leaving him for just a couple days with my sister in law, but since I'm still nursing it would have just been way to hard on the both of us. So instead we decided the 6 hour car ride would be easier lol, But it wasnt bad. I didnt really get to sit in the front seat the whole time but you win some you loose some!

I think thats gotta be the reason people with kids always have minivans!! It was a serious feat of acrobatics trying to slowly bend my way over the front seat and land safely in the back seat of our rented 300C to tend to the baby. If we would of had a minivan i could have just turned around and waled back to hand him a toy or feed him, but instead I'm smackin Nick in the face with my butt, kicking him in the head as im landing, practically sitting on the car seat on my way down lol, it was soooo fun.

But over all it was a nice trip, went out to eat every night ordered room service at the slightest whim of hunger, i felt like a rockstar! wil had his very first swimming pool experience, it was a ton of fun too. they say that babies are "bouyant" and can take to the water quite well and id have to agree, besides having a panic attack when he sneezed and sucked up a ton of water he really really loved floating around, and I dont know what it is about chlorine but it always seems to make everyone erally tired, so we slept great that night!!

New Tricks!

Now theres 2 pictures here cuz its technically 2 tricks! The cute smiley picture is to show that HE SITS!!! With the help of Boppy of course.

The next dopey look picuter is to show that HE DROOLS!!! Its seriously like a slow faucet all day long, its crazy. I try to keep the binki in at all times in fear of him dehydrating. If there was no binki it would be non stop all day long, he would look like a shrivled up rasin. :)

If you look close you can see the line of drool coming from his mouth and ending at the floor, impressive i know. My kids amazing.... lol

My dad and my brother Jake are coming into town on thursday night from Wisconsin. It feels like i just saw them.... oh wait i did.... :) but my dad has a big hunting thing this weekend So they will be here for dinner on thursday, i'm excited, I really miss my fam.

In other news Wil can officially no longer take naps on the couch while I play on the internet. He gets in too much trouble. Our computer room is the everything room, its the laundry room/closet/airconditioned room. we mostly hang out back here in the summer, its known as the bat cave. Well last week Wil was just chillin on the couch playin with some toys so i hopped on the net. My bra was hangin over the back of the couch needing to be put away but thats beside the point, all the sudden the giggling and playing noises stop so i look over and he had pulled my bra off the back of the couch and fell alseep with it tangled up in his hands!! haha, I had to take a pic, it was priceless. Then the next day he was napping again (this is a regular thing on the crappy couch) I hear him wake up so im trying to finsih what im doing and then i hear a "thud" and crying baby, he totally rolled off the couch onto the floor. Mind you i am not a negligent mom I can see the couch perfectly from the computer its like 5 feet away from me lol. Man was he scared!!!

Train ride to Wisconsin!!

So last week Wil and I took a nice little trip up to Wisconsin to see my parents and their new house! We took the train from East Lansing to Chicago, then from Chicago to Wisconsin Dells. I thought the train would be a better idea then driving 8 hours by myself with the baby, we could just ride and make it there in the same time, so that Wil wouldnt have to be stuck in his carseat for 8 hours. But the train ride deffinately wasnt all sunshine and daisies!! The first train really didnt have very much room and we were on it for 4 hours maybe 5 hours if u add all the delays. I deffinatly was that person on the train that everyone hated! it was soooo very quiet all except for my crying baby! He was so bored and just kinda miserable towards the end. and that train smelled like port-a-potty! ick.

Once we got to Union Station it was a bit overwhelming! I am a small town girl lol. Thankgoodness Janee let us borrow her baby carrier, it was a life saver!! So i had him strapped to the front of me, the diaper bag on my back the baby car seat on one arm and one suit case on the other, a really nice lady helped me carry the other big suitcase to the baggage claiming part so that i could get a cart. I thought we would be able to check our bags like at the airport, nope!! boy was I wrong. So we had to rely on the kindness of strangers alot. Good thing that alot of old people ride Amtrak!! lol

The Second train was much better out of Chicago, it was this awesome double decker train, there was soo much room in the seats it was great and there was a lounge/observation car, where they had an awesome snack bar and comfy seats to walk around and sit and play. We loved that train! too bad the same one doesnt go back to Michigan :(

Hangin out with my parents was a blast. Their house is not as small as my mom says it is! And the part of Wisconsin they live in is really pretty! On saturday we went to Devil's lake. it was sooo cold!!!

There was a triathalon going on that day too! those people were crazy jumpin in the cold cold lake!! lol

There are gorgeous rocks and cliffs all around the lake. In the summer you can jump off the cliffs into the lake. sounds like so much fun!

Wil got to go for his first swing ride at the park! He had so much fun! kinda scared the crap outta me tho!

What an adventure!
