Let it Snow!

Sunday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland outside! I dont think i have ever been so excited to see so much snow!! I think i must have been jealous of my parents in Wisconsin tellin stories of all the snow they have had and we still hadnt had any here. So to my excitment, I found as many warm clothes as I could, threw them on the kid and the dog and we headed outside!! Tango had his coat on but wouldnt stand still enough for a picture, he doesnt like it when the snow hits his manhood, so he did a couple laps around the yard and sat on the porch lol. Wil wasnt quite sure what was going on, his hand me down snow suit was just small enough to where he couldnt move his arms to touch the snow . but he had fun sitting in it. Everyone around here had church canceld except for us so we still trecked out for church. the roads we awful, crazy awful but it was an adventure!

I am so excited for christmas. My parents are coming into town and staying with us a whole week for my cousin's wedding. Being broke on christmas is always better when you have family around to be broke with!! lol but i think i am going to take time right now, put in a christmas movie and wrap some presents. Merry Christmas!!

Happy B-day Tango!!!

Well another year has come and gone in the little life of Tango Alabaster Mcgillicutty Blaine..... :) dont ask lol But for his 3rd bday he got to eat a whole piece of pumpkin pie!!! Well he licked off the whipped cream and wouldnt touch the rest of it, And we went for a walk through Petco where he got to pick out a toy, that he actually wont play with cuz it makes a scary noise when he bites it lol, but It was a pretty successfull birthday.

I made my first pies ever today!! I started off easy with some yummy pumpkin pies, they are the prettiest pies on the face of the world!!! I am so proud of them I had to take a picture.

Bronner's Christmas Wonderland!!!

On monday we went up to Saginaw to visit Nick's grandpa, he is very ill and very old, and in the hospital so Nick took the day off and we took Wil up there so grandpa could see him. So on our way home we got to stop at Bronner's, now this place is amazing!! It's bigger than a Super Walmart and full of every different kind of christmas decoration/tree/lights/you name it imaginable!!! I mean when they say wonderland they mean wonderland!!! I had sooo much fun, Nick had a good time but he wont admit it. Frankenmuth is the cutest town in michigan by far i think. We have to go and spend a whole weekend up there sometime. Everything it little german houses and shops and the downtown is adorable.

Then today we took Wil to see Bee Movie!! I take him to the movies all the time, this was actually his second time seeing it lol. See im not a looser going by myself to the movies if i have a kid with me lol. He does so great loves to watch the big screen and it is something fun for me to do too. Wil falls alseep for the second half of the movie and usually misses the endings but he loves the first half!!!

I just wanted to vent about how much I hate doing laundry. and the fact that I have to devote an entire day to laundry makes it even worse, the ironing, the folding and its always the same clothes week after week.... ugh, i wish there was a laundry fairy, ooor i wish that it was cheaper to take clothes to the dry cleaners, or i would just take them like 5 bags of clothes and they would be done by 5, all hung up ironed and everything........

I have emotional days sometimes, nick is so wonderful and brought me this boquet and a box of chocolates, they arent in the picture because i ate them :)

we had a very uneventful halloween, nick worked late and of course we get no trick-or-treaters because we live in the ghetto!!! noone on our block even had the lights on, it was kinda sad lol. Next year we will go out for some fat loot tho because he will actually be eating food lol. I wanted to take him around but really it would have just been me trick or treating, kind of cheating the system :)

It was alotta work but for the hour long session, with 2 outfits it only cost me $2.90 (for a diet coke and hershey pie from BK) toootally worth it lol

Punkin Carvin'

We had such a fun time last night carving pumpkins, we try to do it every year. Nick really gets into it and does a good job, i usually just put a silly face on my pumpkins but he uses the awsesome patterns and makes masterpieces! Wil had a great time too hes so funny, i bought him a little pumpkin and he just sat and sucked on it. Screamed if i tryed to take it away so i just let him suck on it. lol, but we put in our favorite halloween movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, in the lap top so we could watch it in the dining room while we were carving. I forget how much i love that movie.

I am so excited for the holidays, I love decorating my housethe smells of the season, all the different wierd family traditions i have started, its awesome. Nick is such a great sport for letting me be me. hopefully my kids will enjoy the holidays as much as i did growing up. and still do :D

Vacation Week!!

We have been gone for the past week, Nick took the week off and we lived it up!! Went down to Louisville for a seminar over the weekend, such a blast, we took the chance to see the sights there We went to the Zoo and shopped shopped shopped!! Wil n I hung out at the hotel while nick was at the seminar and then he let me go saturday morning and stayed back with Wil. I thought about leaving him for just a couple days with my sister in law, but since I'm still nursing it would have just been way to hard on the both of us. So instead we decided the 6 hour car ride would be easier lol, But it wasnt bad. I didnt really get to sit in the front seat the whole time but you win some you loose some!

I think thats gotta be the reason people with kids always have minivans!! It was a serious feat of acrobatics trying to slowly bend my way over the front seat and land safely in the back seat of our rented 300C to tend to the baby. If we would of had a minivan i could have just turned around and waled back to hand him a toy or feed him, but instead I'm smackin Nick in the face with my butt, kicking him in the head as im landing, practically sitting on the car seat on my way down lol, it was soooo fun.

But over all it was a nice trip, went out to eat every night ordered room service at the slightest whim of hunger, i felt like a rockstar! wil had his very first swimming pool experience, it was a ton of fun too. they say that babies are "bouyant" and can take to the water quite well and id have to agree, besides having a panic attack when he sneezed and sucked up a ton of water he really really loved floating around, and I dont know what it is about chlorine but it always seems to make everyone erally tired, so we slept great that night!!

New Tricks!

Now theres 2 pictures here cuz its technically 2 tricks! The cute smiley picture is to show that HE SITS!!! With the help of Boppy of course.

The next dopey look picuter is to show that HE DROOLS!!! Its seriously like a slow faucet all day long, its crazy. I try to keep the binki in at all times in fear of him dehydrating. If there was no binki it would be non stop all day long, he would look like a shrivled up rasin. :)

If you look close you can see the line of drool coming from his mouth and ending at the floor, impressive i know. My kids amazing.... lol

My dad and my brother Jake are coming into town on thursday night from Wisconsin. It feels like i just saw them.... oh wait i did.... :) but my dad has a big hunting thing this weekend So they will be here for dinner on thursday, i'm excited, I really miss my fam.

In other news Wil can officially no longer take naps on the couch while I play on the internet. He gets in too much trouble. Our computer room is the everything room, its the laundry room/closet/airconditioned room. we mostly hang out back here in the summer, its known as the bat cave. Well last week Wil was just chillin on the couch playin with some toys so i hopped on the net. My bra was hangin over the back of the couch needing to be put away but thats beside the point, all the sudden the giggling and playing noises stop so i look over and he had pulled my bra off the back of the couch and fell alseep with it tangled up in his hands!! haha, I had to take a pic, it was priceless. Then the next day he was napping again (this is a regular thing on the crappy couch) I hear him wake up so im trying to finsih what im doing and then i hear a "thud" and crying baby, he totally rolled off the couch onto the floor. Mind you i am not a negligent mom I can see the couch perfectly from the computer its like 5 feet away from me lol. Man was he scared!!!

Train ride to Wisconsin!!

So last week Wil and I took a nice little trip up to Wisconsin to see my parents and their new house! We took the train from East Lansing to Chicago, then from Chicago to Wisconsin Dells. I thought the train would be a better idea then driving 8 hours by myself with the baby, we could just ride and make it there in the same time, so that Wil wouldnt have to be stuck in his carseat for 8 hours. But the train ride deffinately wasnt all sunshine and daisies!! The first train really didnt have very much room and we were on it for 4 hours maybe 5 hours if u add all the delays. I deffinatly was that person on the train that everyone hated! it was soooo very quiet all except for my crying baby! He was so bored and just kinda miserable towards the end. and that train smelled like port-a-potty! ick.

Once we got to Union Station it was a bit overwhelming! I am a small town girl lol. Thankgoodness Janee let us borrow her baby carrier, it was a life saver!! So i had him strapped to the front of me, the diaper bag on my back the baby car seat on one arm and one suit case on the other, a really nice lady helped me carry the other big suitcase to the baggage claiming part so that i could get a cart. I thought we would be able to check our bags like at the airport, nope!! boy was I wrong. So we had to rely on the kindness of strangers alot. Good thing that alot of old people ride Amtrak!! lol

The Second train was much better out of Chicago, it was this awesome double decker train, there was soo much room in the seats it was great and there was a lounge/observation car, where they had an awesome snack bar and comfy seats to walk around and sit and play. We loved that train! too bad the same one doesnt go back to Michigan :(

Hangin out with my parents was a blast. Their house is not as small as my mom says it is! And the part of Wisconsin they live in is really pretty! On saturday we went to Devil's lake. it was sooo cold!!!

There was a triathalon going on that day too! those people were crazy jumpin in the cold cold lake!! lol

There are gorgeous rocks and cliffs all around the lake. In the summer you can jump off the cliffs into the lake. sounds like so much fun!

Wil got to go for his first swing ride at the park! He had so much fun! kinda scared the crap outta me tho!

What an adventure!

Wil is the best laugher! He giggles and laughs and talks and has the best time! Smiles great for pictures, he still has blue eyes tho I am waiting for them to change. Hopefully to green like mine!! :)

Moving vans came on Tuesday and we said goodbye to my mom n sister for a while :*( My family moved to Wisconsin and left me here in Michigan!! aaahhh!!! It was really hard to see them go, and even harder to see an empty home. But they are starting a new adventure in Wisconsin and will hopefully have a great time there.

Gorgeous Rachel never takes normal pictures but that is her on moving day. She held Wil so I could help clean up. They had a really great group of ladies from Relief Society come to help get the house spotless when they left. They really worked hard and did a great job

I took these pictures on his 3month bday, on my couch :) They lady at Walmart almost wouldnt let me print any out, said they looked professional!! I laughed and took it as a compliment, I think its just because he is so darn cute!! When he is getting ready to cry he gets this heartbreaking pouty lower lip, it is so sad. We went to leave him one night and I think he could tell we were leaving he just sat there, not crying with his sad little lip stickin out and his eyes watering, oh my goodness it was awful! Nick had to push me out the door before I changed my mind about leaving lol.

1st Blog post EVER!!!

Wil is now 3months old on the 30th. He is babbling alot, holds his head up great, smiles and laughs! So much has happened in 3months I don't think I can put it all in here, so we will just keep the blog updated from here on out! I officially have a box of clothes and outfits he doesn't fit into anymore. So sad how fast they grow! Yesterday we got an excersaucer and he loves it! He is just starting to grab for toys, he can hold onto little things like his little plastic rings.

It has been 2 weeks now of Wil sleeping through the night!!! Wahhoooo!!! He goes to bed at 9pm every night and doesnt wake up till 630~7 ish, it is amazing!! I thought it would never happen! It started out with him sleeping for like 4 or 5 hours at a time at night which i was excited about still. Then I started putting him down on his belly (which they tell you not to do because of SIDS n such) and he sleeps amazingly!! I dont even wait till he's asleep to lay him down, he doesn't cry or anything just falls asleep!
